Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) Release Week Buying Guide
|
It’s here! It is finally here. Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) is set to release on Tuesday here in the United States.
Obviously Disney Infinity can be one of the most expensive games you own as well, so I’m here to help you save as much money as possible.
Let’s start from the beginning.
What is the best one stop bundle you can purchase?
Amazon won this round with the best bundle. They have two bundles available. One for $99, and one for $119 and offer $15 or $23 discounts even when you factor in getting a free figure with pre-order else where.
What is the best place to get your Starter Pack?
The best deal is to still pre-order it at any retailer. No true specific deals for Starter Packs, so you still have time to pre-order it today! If you want to pre-order, I’d order online at Best Buy as you can do in-store pick up and make sure it’s ready to go for you on release day with your free figure
What is the best place to get your Figures?
Toys ‘R’ Us will have the best deals for the figures on release week at having them 3 for $33 (and you much purchase 3). If you can wait, Target will have a buy 2 get 1 free sale next week which will save you around $5 total.
What is the best place to get your PlaySets?
There are two places that will give you the best deal for the two Playsets available for Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes.
First, if you purchase one at Target, you will get 2 free power discs packs with each purchase (a $10 value).
If instant savings is your preference, Toys ‘R’ Us is having a midnight sale (that we brought you details exclusively) that will let you purchase both playsets as part of a 2 for $55 deal. That deal is available online from midnight to 1AM in-store only.
What is the best place to get you Power Disc packs?
Toys ‘R’ Us is the only place having a deal for the Power Disc Packs. At Toys ‘R’ Us you can pick them up at a deal rate of 3 for $10 (essentially a Buy 2 Get 1 Free)
What is the best place to get your Disney Infinity?
Toys ‘R’ Us and Target are both having a 20% off accessories deal. The kicker is Toys ‘R’ Us deal is only valid at their midnight release.
Remember, also that Toys ‘R’ Us has that exclusive Power Disc Album. So if you want that, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to stop by their midnight sale and pick up the album at 20% off.
What are some other notables?
Walmart is releasing a ‘Special Value Bundle’ exclusively on their website and in-stores for $99. You save about $13. But if you are pre-ordering a starter pack somewhere and are getting a free figure, you honestly don’t save a single thing with this bundle. But if you are giving this as a gift, this is a good option as it is all in one box. These are available for all platforms!
So what are your release day plans? I’ll be bouncing all around the stores in the Lancaster, PA area! Maybe I’ll see you!
