The videos for Nemo and Dory have been added to some player’s Hall of Heroes statues in Disney Infinity 3.0 giving us a first glimpse at their gameplay.

Take a look at their gameplay videos below, which shows both toy box and Finding Dory Play Set gameplay.

In the video, you can see some elements of a side scrolling based Play Set, which was teased in a recent Boy’s Life article.

The Finding Dory Play Set as well as the Nemo figure will release on Friday, June 17th.

Makes me so sad about what could have been… Ariel.

    • YoshiAngemon

Yeah, but Capcom would’ve been referenced, too.

  • Joey Ruff

This is an obvious rumor, so take it for what it’s worth, but my brother works for a company in TX that provides the RFID chips for the figures. He told me yesterday that the company took a hit from Infinity closing shop, but word around his office was that the property was sold and they are working to continue that account. I asked him if he was sure, because the official word was that the game was cancelled, and he said, “sounded like they sold it and there is possibility it will keep going somehow”… I have little hope that his knowledge is accurate, as it’s more likely hearsay around the water cooler, but there may still be a glimmer of hope

    • Alex Piccirillo

I would be 100% okay with this.

    • Magical frontier

That would be awesome but I would think instead to tanking the brand by announcing closure they would have quietly made a deal with this company and announced s change of course. My fingers are crossed. It was such a fantastic concept and game it needs to continue with Disney content.

Makes sense if it’s true. That was what the announcement basically stated, that they wanted no risk all reward by licensing properties. Safe to say they have gotten feedback and are exploring options. Hopefully the DI teams will get some onboarding somewhere, where ever this lands.

I’m curios to know what company makes the RFID chips?

    THIS LOOKS AWESOME!

  • Silly Goat

Seems like the play set will be a side scroller, like the Inside Out Playset. I wish the Finding Dory play set was more of a story-based play set like the Star Wars ones. Marvel Battlegrounds, Inside Out, and now Finding Dory lack story and adventure.

  • Desaigamon

Since Dory and Nemo have actual attacks, it looks like we’ll be able to use them in Toy Box Takeover. I’m happy for that at least.

    • Destroy3rGaming Gaming

Yeah, and since there’s a manta ray vehicle, it also looks like they can drive vehicles, which could let them play in Toy Box Speedway, which will definitely be fun.

  • Destroy3rGaming

This now makes me want the figures more. I can’t wait! The first thing I will do is make a battlegrounds arena for them when I get lots of coral, the sky, and terrain (unlocks from the finding dory playset). And I learned to create this from CrypticFox and the link to the video will be in the comment, and this person isn’t me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HVPvRskdnk

    The end.

Disney Infinity, so long and thanks for all the fish.
