In Strange Change of Course, Nemo Disney Infinity Figure Drops Power Discs

Well I think this is a first, but it appears the Disney Infinity Nemo figure set for release on June 17th may come without the two Disney Infinity 1.0 power discs.

When the first images of the Nemo figure packaging leaked, many were intrigued by the inclusion of the two Nemo power discs that were originally released with Disney Infinity 1.0.

Now Amazon Japan, Canada, Mexico, etc. have updated the listing now without the power discs.

Interestingly though, the listing still features the advertisement for the power discs that were originally coming along with the packaging.

Could the power discs be on the bottom of the packaging under the figure? Perhaps! But then why isn’t there any indication on the box that there were powerdiscs included in the packaging?

Who knows!

I don’t even have a guess as to why the change, I don’t think the change has anything to do with the cancellation of the game, but it is interesting none-the-less.

Obviously many products change from announcement to release, but I don’t think I remember seeing a press shot for anything ever be changed like this.
