Bill Rosemann Teases Upcoming Disney Infinity Marvel Battlegrounds Reveal

Bill Rosemann, creative director at Marvel Games, tweeted out Tuesday evening that he just finished filming a Marvel Battlegrounds video with Allison Petrek and it has an “exclusive reveal”.

Obviously, I think it’s safe to assume that the reveal is a Marvel figure. But the question now is, what will it all contain?

No other information is known about the reveal at this point. With the next Disney Infinity NEXT event looking to happen in May, my gut feels it would be saved for that event.

The end of Marvel Battlegrounds hints at a certain Marvel character coming at some point. Plus Bill has been pretty vocal about his support of getting Marvel characters into the game, so perhaps this will finally be the announcement of a new Female Marvel character.

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War is releasing on May 6th in theaters, and would be smart for Disney Infinity to piggy back on that event. Perhaps a Disney Infinity NEXT event on 5/3 or 5/10?

The event is already known to show off the three individual packaged Alice: Through The Looking Glass figures, as well as the Finding Dory Play Set. I know I’m already super excited for the event!
