New Disney Infinity 3.0 “Hall of Heroes” Added, Up To 13 Disney Figures Still To Release?

In addition to the first look at the Alice Through the Looking Glass figure designs, the Disney Infinity update also brought a new Hall of Heroes section! The new section seems to be for the 2016 “Disney Originals” figures set to be released this year.

There are 13 “spots”, but obviously noting is guaranteed.

The only spot in use right now is Baloo.

But we know the following will be receiving figures:

• Alice
• Mad Hatter
• Time
• Peter Pan

So that leaves potentially eight more spots (again, there could be more or there could be less, no-one knows!)

This is what we know: There is a Disney Animation Studios play set coming and a Pixar play set coming in 2016. We also know that there will be some content from Finding Dory coming, not guaranteed to be a play set, but is widely speculated.

As far as the Disney Animation Studios play set is widely speculated to be from Moana.

Moana, from what they’ve told us so far, seems to be heavily based on two characters: Moana and Maui.

Though obviously there is going to be more than that, so potentially we could see more figures out of that franchise.

Finding Dory, on the other hand, is chop full of new and loveable characters. So potentially we could see a number of characters out there, or they could limit them to Dory, Nemo, and Hank.

IF (keyword is IF) we do get the max number of Disney figures as the new Hall of Heroes seems to show, I think it stands pretty good evidence we could see 1 or 2 franchises receiving Toy Box Only figures, so the speculation is far from over.
