Disney Hosting A ‘Disney Infinity’ Tournament This Summer in California, Finals On The ‘Disney Dream’

Disney Infinity will begin a ‘Disney Infinity’ tournament that will take part in three legs this summer, with the finals taking part afterwards upon the Disney Dream Cruise Line.

The tournament will break down into three separate competitions at each of the following places: San Diego Comic Con, D23 Expo in Anaheim, or an event that will take place this September to be announced later (and perhaps outside the southern California area)

Here are all the main details:

THE TOURNAMENT

Disney Infinity Super Fans will compete at one of three summer tournaments.  The first leg will take place at the Disney Infinity pop-up shop during Comic Con in San Diego (July 10, 2015), second leg will take place during the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA (August 2015) and the third leg will be announced soon and will take place in September 2015. Stay tuned!

All tournament legs will be filmed for broadcast and all contestants will receive a Disney Infinity Prize Pack.

HOW TO ENTER

If you’re going to be in the San Diego, CA area on July 10th, submit a video and tell us why you are a Disney Infinity Super Fan!

We are looking for 16 contestants for the first leg of the IN Games tournament taking place during Comic Con in San Diego. If you’re going to be in the San Diego, CA area on July 10th, submit a video, 1 minute or less, by telling us why you are the ultimate Disney Infinity Super Fan:

PRIZE DESCRIPTION

All contestants will receive a Disney Infinity prize pack.  The winner of each leg will receive a Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack AND a trip to the IN Games Finals on the Disney Cruise Line, aboard the Disney Dream. The 3 – Night Bahamian Cruise shall consist of the following:

1. Two (2) round trip coach airfares between the major U.S. gateway airport closest to the winner’s residence and the major airport closest to Orlando, FL  if the winner resides outside a 200 mile radius of  the Ship’s Homeport
2. Round trip ground transportation from the airport to the Ship’s Homeport
3. A three (3) night Cruise on the Disney Dream for two (2) persons and includes:
   • One (1) stateroom aboard the Disney Dream.  Maximum occupancy two (2) people
   • All meals onboard the Cruise Ship (except Palo and Remy Fine Dining)
   • Pre-paid gratuities, government taxes, fees, and port expenses (as defined in the Disney Cruise Line brochure)

I will personally be at D23, and am planning a trip on the Disney Cruise Line, but perhaps I’ll have to switch to this weekend instead.
