No Disney Infinity 2.0 ‘Timed Exclusive’ Figure Releases At Retailers

If you remember last year, after the initial launch of Disney Infinity, it seemed every figure after that had a timed exclusive with a retailer.

That’s not happening in the Disney Infinity 2.0 release time period.

Last year, Walmart had timed exclusives on Woody and Rapunzel, Best Buy had Ralph and Vanellope, etc.

Many customers did not like this setup, as some fans did not have all the retailers available in their area and therefore had to wait to get the figures they wanted.

I somewhat enjoyed the timed exclusives just because I’m a ‘thrill of the hunt’ kind of person, but I know many of you like going to your one local retailer.

Now this doesn’t mean stores won’t get exclusives, we still are expecting the collector cases to come at some point.

@edsouth @DisneyInfinity Thats not to say that we won't ever do it, but FWIW not all of our fans had access to all retailers. So that's why!
