Tron Figures or Updates Headed To Disney Infinity? J.V.’s Latest Hint

We know the Tron Lightcycle is in Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition, but it has yet to be revealed how we get it.

It has been shown in the official screenshot above, as well as in a trailer with Tinkerbell as the driver.

But how do we get the tron light cycle? So far it is a mystery. But John Vignocchi does what he does best… give us a tease.

Now this could mean many things, not necessarily figures. Just having ‘figures’ doesn’t always unlock new toys.

I’ve come up with three theories, feel free to chime in on yours!…

1. Since we know digital content is coming (calling it ‘DLC’ for now), this could just be part of an ‘update’ down the road to bring in some new toys.
2. Maybe it could be a ‘timed exclusive’ for whatever the last two Disney Original figures are. Meaning, if you do have to ‘download/purchase’ something on your system digital store, perhaps if you purchase the figures within the first month you get the light cycle for free as a bonus?
3. Maybe it is an unlock when you place all the Disney Original figures down in the Hall of Heroes.

I don’t think theory #3 holds much weight (at least in regards to it unlocking the tron cycle) as he says ‘this will make sense later’. It wouldn’t be a shocker if it was unlocked with all the figures. It seems to be bigger than just a unlock for all the figures.
