Official — ‘Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack’ & ‘Disney Figures Wave 1’ Coming November 4th, Available to Pre-Order

Disney Interactive made the ‘Disney Infinity: Toy Starter Pack’ official this morning and it will be launching November 4th for $59.99. Earlier reports had it named Toy Box Bundle Pack, but it seems that the name has been changed to reflect it being a starter pack.

The Toy Box Starter Pack will be launching on all platforms. This is just an alternate to Disney Infinity players who do not want to purchase the Marvel Super Heroes Starter Pack. The software inside is the exact same. The Disney Toy Box Starter Pack does not include a play set (hence the name). You will only receive two figures, but will receive two Toy Box Game Discs (which will be availably separately from this Starter Pack for those who want to get the discs).

Here are the full contents

• The Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition) video game – The Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack and Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes Starter Pack both include the same video game disc
• Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition) base
• (2) Disney Originals Figures (Merida and Stitch)
• (2) Disney Originals “Toy Box Game Discs” – Stitch’s Tropical Rescue and Brave Forest Siege
• (1) Web code card
• (1) poster

In addition the Wave 1 of Disney Original Figures will debut on November 4th as well. These include Stitch, Merida, Maleficent, Aladdin, Donald, and Tinker Bell. In addition we expect Hiro and Baymax to made official as well as we get closer to release date (Disney is waiting to make the announcement until the movie Big Hero 6 is closer to hitting theaters) as you can even see them on the box.

Obviously, the Disney Originals Power Disc Packs should release November 4th as well, though no official confirmation on that yet. You can view all 40 Disney Original Power discs though at our Disney Infinity 2.0 Power Disc page!

Disney Interactive today announced that a special Disney-themed Toy Box Starter Packis set to launch this November, just in time for the holidays.  The Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack (2.0 Edition) gives Disney fans the chance to experience the new  and improved Toy Box 2.0 mode, set in the wonderful world of Disney, and  is compatible with the game’s Marvel Play Sets.

Players can create unique stories featuring Starter Pack characters Merida and Stitch, utilize newly announced Disney and Marvel characters, as well as bring all of their existing characters from Disney Infinity into the Toy Box 2.0 mode. The Toy Box Starter Pack is compatible with all Disney Infinity content, including Marvel Play Sets, figures and Power Discs. With it, fans new and old can experience the most popular mode of Disney Infinity, the Toy Box, unlock Disney-themed content and can elect to purchase additional figures and Play Sets separately.

“Disney Infinity fans spend the majority of their time inside the Toy Box mode, and with our new Toy Box Starter Pack, we’re giving Disney fans an alternative entry point to the Disney Infinity sequel,” said John Blackburn, Vice President and General Manager of Avalanche Software. “We’ve completely re-tooled the Toy Box for this year’s version of Disney Infinity, and we want every Disney fan to experience it using their favorite Disney or Marvel characters.”

The game is a part of the Disney Infinity game universe, which also includes Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes. All Disney Infinity figures and Power Discs are compatible with the Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack (2.0 Edition).

The Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack (2.0 Edition) is rated E10+ by the ESRB and is expected to hit store shelves on November 4, for a suggested retail price of $59.99.  Additional Disney Originals figures will be sold separately. Pre-orders are available now at all major retailers. Participating retailers will offer one free Disney Infinity figure with pre-order purchase of Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack (2.0 Edition).
