‘Aladdin’ Figure, ‘Disney Legends Starter Pack’ Outed By UK Retailer

Legends Starter Pack ARgosYet another retailer may have leaked some more unannounced Disney Infinity information.

Disney Infinity Fans noticed earlier today that UK Retailer, Argos, had listed the previously leaked figures from Walmart (Hiro, Baymax, and Donald Duck). In addition a new figure has shown up… Aladin.

Aladdin had been noticed in the Toys “R” Us database via Vinylmation’s reliable TRU source, so this just makes that rumor even more credible.

In addition, Argo has listed various “Disney Infinity 2.0 Legends Starter Packs”. Again if you remember, Walmart had the same items listed, but they were titled the “Disney Originals”. Either name could be correct, or they could regional names, but I personally hope the Legends term is in fact just the new term. Not everything character is an original, but let’s be honest… every Disney character is a legend.

The price point is listed as the same price point as the Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition), though Walmart’s were cheaper when they were listed.

I said it before when the Walmart leak came out, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an entire Disney Infinity Originals / Disney Infinity Legends Starter Pack to come out at some point. Many of you have made it apparent that you just aren’t into the Marvel universe. So Disney would obviously love to still get your purchase somehow… and this would be a way to do it.

And obviously we have noted the emphasis Disney has placed on the naming of the game so far. It’s official title is “Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition)”. One could argue the way they have the naming setup, you could easily make other 2.0 editions.

As a re-reminder, Disney Infinity does have a plan to get everyone a way to upgrade without having to purchase a new Starter Pack. Argos has listed the Disney Infinity Avengers Play Set.
