Disney Infinity ‘Maleficent’ Event Being Held May 28th in San Francisco

Are you ready for the next round of Disney Infinity news? Well the next Disney Infinity event is happening Wednesday, May 28th in San Francisco.

The Disney Fan Club, D23, is hosting an event that will not only give attendees a special sneak peak at some new Disney Infinity news, but also a chance to catch a screaming of the new ‘Maleficent’ film!

The event page states:

“Disney Interactive is bringing the evil to the next chapter of Disney Infinity. The night begins with a special presentation from the Disney Infinity team before guests are treated to a sneak peek screening of the Walt Disney Studios upcoming film, Maleficent.”

Disney Infinity is an interactive gaming platform where players have unprecedented freedom and endless opportunity to create stories and play experiences starring the beloved characters from across the worlds of Disney. Building on the success of last year’s initial launch, Disney Interactive announced that Disney Infinity’s next chapter, Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, will hit stores this fall. In the all-new game, players use real-world interactive figures to activate original storylines (Play Sets) in the virtual game worlds of popular Marvel franchises and create new adventures with other Disney Infinity characters in the Toy Box mode. Note that last line? I think this all points to one conclusion… Maleficent is getting her own figure.

The event is set to take place at 7PM local time and is only available to D23 Gold and Silver members.
